"On this day, humanity has exhausted all the natural resources the Earth can provide within a single year. In 2026, this date falls on July 30.
This demonstrates that our current economic and consumption patterns are overburdening the Earth and jeopardizing our future—to an increasingly severe extent."

But, but... ursula's (ursula = €u) green deal saves the Earth 🤣

As if imposing any regulations on like 5% of the world's population could affect the entire Earth 🤣

Yep! But as we can see, there is still a majority of (kinda) "normal people", who believe the lies of the lunatics installed in power through fraud. And this is... very disappointing, to say the least. Decades of mass-media manipulation, disinformation and brainwashing have taken their toll.

P.S. For example, does anyone remember when all the craziness about the "ozone hole" started? I recall it was from the late 80's and I've been "dying" from it for almost 40 years, yet still alive 😀 Now the "global climate change/temperature rising" is the new media bubble-gum for the next "mass extinction of humanity". And this summer is the most normal one for the last 20 years regarding the climate conditions, despite the media lies for "hottest summer so far".

I thought that the ozone hole was real and that the ozone layer started to slowly recover in the years after when FCKWs had been banned.

I do.

Yeah, it is "real" (how can I argue with the TV-sets and all those paid pseudo-scientists?!) and that's why it was formed in the south half of the Earth's atmosphere - far, far away from all the major air pollution countries, and remains statically positioned for all those years 😁

Please, stop watching TV and eating the toxic official government's propaganda - I mean the €u's official propaganda, since the ursulians settled their own €USSR.

Thanks, @TELVM. Those sycopats in power didn't discovered the wheel in 2020 😉

P.S. Once I thought, that j.c. juncker was evil... Now, comparing him to frau ursula, I consider him as an almost harmless senile alcoholic.

yes

It's not even contentious to me, CFCs chemical activity isn't something weird, its demonstrable, once the levels reduced the ozone isn't broken down anymore and slowly regenerated.

this is actually a good case of something fairly straightforward and even fairly easy to regulate in a way that requires no special powers, just adding to a "do not use this substance" list

the conceptual problem with overshoot day isn't the idea that renewables are used up more quickly that they are renewed at the present time, its what that means - are we supposed to only use what can be renewed? what's the definition of that? if we're all still here then clearly the consequence isn't instant doom, so what is the consequence.? If the idea is to provoke some thinking that's great, if its to be prescriptive about how we respond its not so great!

In mass-media the global see level continues to "rise", even if Arctic's ice cap has stopped to melt and regenerated. We're saved thanks to CFCs ban! Thank you, globalist gods! But there's still no global ban for cow's farts... it's time to eradicate the cattle 🤣

There's more simple and logical explanation: solar activity cycles.

Be careful what you're saying, as there are people who take it seriously, and want to force everybody into some "vege" diet 🤣

Anyway, it doesn't really matter if human activity has any impact on the climate.
The point is: those who believe that is has should spend their money on heaters or air conditions (depending which direction they believe in), rather than on attempts to nullify such impact.
Because - if the impact is true - the climate WILL change, even if the entire EU goes back to the Stone Age.
The 5% of world's population doesn't matter when compared to the 95%.

But what exactly?
That the climate keeps changing?
It's been constantly changing for billions of years already - is this sad?
I understand that some people may find the extinction of dinosaurs sad - but it should be noted that it provided the living room for mammals like us!

From what I know, you live in the temperate climate zone - which means you're safe no matter which direction the climate shifts.
Only those who live in hot and cold areas can be affected - somebody wins, somebody loses, as always...
