XArchive is a compression and image extraction program that works with RAR,
Zip, 7Zip, and .CAB, as well as .IMG/.IMA/.DSK files. You can extract directly
from the command line or use the built-in file browser. Use XARC /? at
the command line to see usage text.
Version 2.0 adds the ability to compress Zip and 7Zip files and a directory picker
for file extraction, as well as adding support for Microsoft .CAB files and the older
Diamond compression (e.g. files with SETUP.EX_).
System Requirements:
--------------------
CPU: 80386 or newer Intel or compatible processor
RAM: 2MB for Zip, 8MB for 7Zip
OS: DOS 4.0 or newer
80486DX/4 100MHz or faster strongly recommended when using 7Zip.
7Zip can require considerably more memory depending on dictionary size.

Full disclosure: I used Claude to assist me with the archive formats, password encryption, and debugging.
I'd appreciate any feedback or just a message on if you find it useful.
