Trying to replace the speakers and want to know if I can get away with 8 ohms instead of the original 16, or I should strictly look for the matching specs. I have some spare parts matching in size, but they are both 8. I can handle soldering but I don’t know a lot about the actual numbers, and I surely don’t want to risk a perfect sound chip or the laptop’s motherboard.
