Hello -

I have a Radeon 9700 in one of my builds, and I was taking a closer look to see exactly what model I have.
Some of the information that GPUz (2.30.0) tells me seems to be contradictory. I thought it was a vanilla Radeon 9700, but now I'm not certain.

GPUz lists as:

+Radeon 9500 Pro/9700 - OK - seems the only real difference between these two cards is the bus width on the memory - 128bit on the Radeon 9500 Pro and 256bit on the 9700 so..
+256bit - OK, according to GPUz this is a 256bit card - great a Radeon 9700, however..
+Bandwidth - 16.8 GB/sec - now this is more in agreement with the Radeon 9700 TX (Dell OEM) - however that has a 128bit memory bus, and GPUz reports my card as having a 265bit bus.
+clocks 263/263 - this again points to the Radeon 9700 TX (Dell OEM)

So on the surface I think this is the Radeon 9700 TX (Dell OEM) - the only issue is the memory bus width, GPUz reporting 256bit.

Does anyone have any experience with these cards, was there a 256bit variant?
Thanks!

Thanks, I had just reached the same conclusion too - there seems to be a lot of information indicating the TX had half the memory bus width, but it seems it is indeed a slightly under-clocked 9700 with 256bit bus. Thanks!
