I realize the "omni" word is not very accurate for this purpose and can be misleading. I'll rename it later.

Indeed...sorry for looking stubborn/picky but I still fail to grasp the logic...
In Midi, especially on vintage synths, Omni mode was an option (for *mono-timbral synths only*!!!) to have the synth responding to *any* midi channel.
As such, Omni mode makes no sense for multitimbral synths like the d110, where every part must respond to the midi channel it gets assigned by the user, and only to that. Therefore, whatever "Omni" means in the original d110 emulator, it is either wrong or very misleading...

Anyway yes, if I enable it, every part now responds to the intended channel...

Btw, I must apolgize in advance but I am not confident at all with github, so I don't know what it means that a bug or feat. req. was fixed/added by [hex number]. The only thing I see is that they were NOT fixed/added in the latest Release I just downloaded....

don't worry, "fixed" in github means it's already in the code and it will be included in the next release (maybe tomorrow).

Again, in October once I am back in my studio I'll test the vst more extensively.

Just some questions/hints which imho are better discussed here...

1. The D110 had no builtin sequencer, why providing one ? I mean, pretty all people would use the vst in a daw, or maybe even the standalone (just to play it live). I think adding a sequencer was rather pointless, don't you think so ?
2. Which the purpose of the memory card ? Imho its just an eyecandy/distraction...I mean, to which purpose ejecting it and having it floating around ?
3. A similar consideration applies to the phones jack
4. Why using a crocked volume knob ? Lol...I know it's funny but really looks broken 😁
5. (Idea) the label is Roland with upside-down "a" to avoid legal implications. Why not calling it Ronald instead ? 😀
6. This project should be advertised, so people who may be interested will know of it ! I'd make an entry on KVR and maybe even a quick illustrative YT video...

1. I'm using this sequencer myself. I really want to use less DAW at the moment. The D110 had no sequencer, but the D20, which is similar in every aspect, had. I don't know how this D20 sequencer worked, but I want something similar. TBH I haven't used the VST yet, I'm only using the standalone version. It's quicker to start than any DAW and I can create and record immediately, without bothering to make the connections between the DAW and the VST, check for new plugins... But your point is valid. I'll make sure that the sequencer won't be shipped with the vst version in the next releases, it would be useless.
2. I haven't tested the memory card. I don't know if we can use it to record anything on it. It was a later addition by the previous developer. If we can't record on it, I'll probably remove this part.
3. I'd recommend to use the utility>panel size > compact version. This will hide the phone jack. The full size panel has the front jack, but well, we can't just have everything and remove it, can we?
4. I don't like it much, and I've first considered making the rotating part to the top of the knob only. But this way the white mark on it won't be aligned with the min/max marks. But I have an idea now, maybe just getting the top of the knob and resizing it.
5. Another VST was calling its Roland derivative "Rolend". It like the idea, and it was also easier to keep and reverse the "a" instead of finding a similar font to rename it. "Ronald" reminds me of the McDonald company 😒
