I have created a Windows/Mac desktop that you can use to remotely manage and control your retro Win9x/2000 machines.

There are two parts of the application. The agent, this runs on your retro machine and then the desktop app which works on modern windows/mac.

Both are open source. The agent has a VNC server built in (and lots of other tools).
