It's actually a good idea. Though I would like to fix the issue reported by Monotremata first.

Monotremata , I might have found the bug. It was because DBGL Extended had some issues with eventually manually added mount lines in the .conf. Kindly check if you can reproduce the bug with alpha 40, if possible. If the bug is confirmed to be fixed, I would create an own topic for DBGL Extended Edition.

Please before you update, be sure to backup your current DBGL folder.

OK, I'm testing alpha 40. So far I've noticed:

1) When editing multiple profiles, I've come into this error:

Z8iC8lJ.png

I was trying to update multiple profiles to use DOSBox Staging, and I was changing the setting output=ddraw (which is deprecated) to output=opengl.

2) While editing the profile, trying to grab info from MobyGames puts the program on an endless loop. I know this feature has been broken for a long time, but I'd prefer if it was disabled or threw an error message than having to manually close the program.

Creating profiles from scratch and importing DBGL Gamepacks seem to be working fine, though.

I'll do some more testing later.

Okay. thank you for the bug report. In the afternoon I will open a new topic for Extended Edition to keep this topic here clean for DBGL official only.

I will do any necessary bug fixing on Saturday.

[quote=@AlfreX - While the original DFend was awesome, this one is in the same boat, its PC only. DBGL users are spread across Windows, MacOS and Linux..

Hi! Yes, for now it's only available for Windows, but as I mentioned in my previous post, a Linux version is in the works. (I'm acting as a beta tester myself), and it won't be long before it's stable and ready for release.
As for Apple, I'm not sure—you'd have to ask the creator of DFendX. But I think if enough people ask for it, he might be able to make it.
