I'm trying to used a "wrapped" version of the old King's Quest games (specifically 1 - 3) that I downloaded as a torrent:
The games work beautifully on my Mac - I just put the game files directly into my applications folder and they open directly from there without any dos work at all.
But the problem I'm having is that I can't figure out how to save during the game. And these are long games that require saving. The game asks that you specify the filepath or directory during gameplay in order to save and load games, but I don't know what the appropriate path or directory is. I've looked up the filepath for where the game is located and typed it in, but that hasn't worked. I've created a blank folder in the applications folder and tried having it save there, but that hasn't worked either.
I'm sure this isn't an insurmountable problem, but I don't know how to get started with this. Can anyone lend a hand?
