With the Xbox 360 controller I can shoot and pass, but I can only move in the y-direction (and for some reason only with the right stick). The controller works fine with other basketball games like Jordan vs Bird: One on One and Fast Break.

I think I fixed the problem. Changing the timed option didn't work, but changing the joystick option to 2axis seems to have done the trick.
