Hi there. I'm having an issue with controls via my Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 in the game Metal Mutant. In the game, the buttons on the pad work, and the right direction works, but the left, up and down directions do not work. I tried the joytest.exe file I found in another thread, and this seems to show my gamepad working fine. I have tried with my config file joystick settings on default, and I have also tried setting timed to false and changing to a 2axis joystick type.

Further information about my system as reuested in the sticky post on here:

Foxconn 6150 K8MA-8KRS Motherboard
AMD Athlon64 3700+ S939 CPU
2GB RAM
XFX Geforce 7600 GT XXX 256MB PCI-E
Creative Audigy LS
Windows XP Pro SP2 32Bit

I'm a bit unsure on information required for sound mode used, but I have left all the default settings for sound in the config file. Likewise, video mode has been left on the default.

Version of DOSBox is 0.72.

Thanks for any help 😀

Okay an update, as I seem to have had no responses thus far.. I believe this problem to be game specific.

I have since ran Xenon 2, which works fine with my Rumblepad. I have also tried to use an MS Sidewinder (gameport, not USB like the Rumblepad), and have the exact same problem in Metal Mutant.. Anybody have any ideas?

I tried without changing the joystick settings in dosbox.conf the first time; I only started changing these settings when it did not work.
