I'm having trouble running it in fullscreen. I have DOSBox set with
aspect=true
scaler=normal2x
but it's still showing it in a box. What other settings do I need to change?
Check the readme and dosbox.conf file. Especially the "fullscreen" setting.

The question is why do you want to play the DOS port of ZSNES in DOSBox instead of the Linux/Windows port of ZSNES?
