how do i make dark legions and heroes of might and magic work? i've been trying to figure it out for like 2 days already. i've got dosbox .70-.72 and the reloaded one. please help me. a step-by-step would be deeply appreciated.

i tried following which dosbox it operates on, but still doesn't work. and when i tried to run it in the reloaded version, it says that there no mount to it or something like that.
i was able to install it using dosbox .70, but then when i'm about to play it, it displays an error and that it cannot detect the cdrom. what do i do?
a) use dosbox 0.72
b) mount the cdrom

if i use the .72, do i have to reinstall it again or not anymore since i did it in .70? how do i mount the cdrom? dosbox dislpays cannot locate cdrom whenever i try to run it
Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too).
If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.
Reading the aptly named README file will be a good idea too.

thanks! i was able to reach the opening page, but now, it's asking for the cd, and i just downloaded the game from the net. what do i do? how do i make it work?
