I just installed my old SYSTEM SHOCK 1 CDROM Version.
The game runs great even in FullScreen 640x480 but I got no INGAME sfx 🙁 The intro runs perfect with speech but ingame I only got music ...
Are there any hints ?

The only one that worked was SB PRO...
SB16 doesnt seem to work 🙁

For the Sound Blaster - which settings did you choose for IO, IRQ, DMA(s)? Do they match the settings used by DOSBox? The DOSBox defaults are:
sbbase=220
irq=7
dma=1
hdma=5

Thats really not the problem because the intro of the game has fine speech...
I use A220 I5 D1 and that are my settings in dosbox.conf

then the only questions that remain are: why didn't it work with irq 5 and more importantly why did you think that changing the dosbox irq from 7 to 5 was a good idea

CD System Shock works fine with SB16 and IRQ5 if you set both dosbox.conf and System Shock's installer properly.
