Motherboard = Intel D865GLC
Processor = Intel Pentium 4, 2.80GHz
RAM = 1GB
Video Board = NVidia GeForce FX 5200
Sound Board Soundmax Integrated Digital Audio
OS = Windows XP Pro SP3
Game = Lemmings (Part of Ultimate Collection)
Monitor = Median FlatScreen 17", Res = 1440x990
DosBox 0.73

Game opens in small window and seems to run OK. I have not tried to go beyond level 1 yet. If I press ALT+Enter, I get a blank screen with a message Analog RGB, 35Khz / 70Hz Out of range.

I have read the Readme and tried various setting of fullscreen, fullresolution and windowresolution without success.

How can I get the game to run in a bigger window?

It seems to be setting a refresh rate that your monitor doesn't handle. Have you tried "0x0" for the fullresolution setting? That should make it use the resolution that your desktop is already at. Maybe it'll also keep the refresh rate.

For windowed mode, try using:
windowresolution=1280x960 (or some other integer multiple of 320x200 or 320x240 that fits on 1440x990)
output=opengl (or anything other than surface really)
scaler=none
aspect=true

For full screen, try:
fullresolution=0x0
output=opengl (or anything other than surface really)
scaler=none
aspect=true

Thank you HunterZ. Your suggestions for Windowed mode worked fine, except I used 1280x800 instead of 1280x960 as the latter was too tall for my monitor. I have not tried full screen as the windowed mode is big enough.
The Lemmings package I purchased has 9 games in it, and they each install in their own sub-directory with a copy of Dosbox (0.72). So I have eight more to check. I will have to see if I can remember how to set up BAT files to use just the one copy of DosBox (0.73) I downloaded and installed myself. 😀
