I just downloaded the daggerfall game from file planet, and i'm having trouble installing. I've tried following the directions, but when i get to the point of installing it, i get the message that there's not enough space. And yes, i checked, plenty of space 😀

[MOVED, MOVED & MOVED]

Installing instructions clearly state that you add -freesize 1000 to the mounting parameters for C drive.

So, not only trouble installing, but also trouble reading 🙁 It is the end of civilization.

Ok, sorry, not used to taging things on to the end of commands like that, so i missed it. But god, do you people have to be such assholes about it?

The amount of assholyness is directly proportional to the stupidity in the first posting.

Sure I have. And I have had things not working as a result. The difference is in how I then react. I have two choices:

1) Blame it on other people (and their bad / faulty instructions).
2) Blame it on myself.

I tend to always blame myself - at least initially. And that means double and tripple checking what I have done, and it means searching the Internet (under the assumption that I am not unique, and if I have made a mistake, then others have probably made the same mistake) in the hope of an answer.

Only then do I start entertaining the idea that maybe, just maybe, I did all right, and someone else it to blame. And then, I admit, my questions, my posts, tends to be rather .... direct and to the point.

Computers are stupid and only do what you tell them to. It's important to follow instructions exactly (right down to capitalization sometimes!), especially if you don't know what they do.
