I just recently got Darkseed and when I tried to play the game, at first everything is fine, the opening cinematic plays, but right after the scene with the main character having his forehead ripped open, and it says something about a nightmare, the screen just goes all static and refuses to work.

I am using the latest version of DOSbox, 0.73 and its not like I have an old crappy laptop that cant play freaking DOS games, so i have no idea why the game refuses to work, any thoughts?
