All:
Up to now, I have had no problems with Fantasy General on my Vista 64-bit laptop. Recently, I had to nuke Vista (restored to factory settings) and when I went to reinstall, I upgraded to the latest version of DOSbox, v0.73.
Now, for some reason, Fantasy General frequently crashes! I have not had this problem in the past, so I think it is likely a problem with the latest version of DOSbox having some incompatability.
Is it possible for me to downgrade versions of DOSbox to a version that was around about a year ago? I would prefer to do this. I see posts online showing Fantasy General works flawlessly with v0.72, and I don't recall what version I got it working with on this same computer but it certainly wasn't 0.73, it was a version available around early 2008, when I originally downloaded DOSBox. I would like to test my theory of FG working with the old DOSBox on my machine before I bother you with more details, but I can't find links to previous versions.
Please help! Thank you.
Sam
