Hmmm. I took a look at this game. As far as I can tell, Abuse is one of those games where the source code and resources for the first 4 share-ware levels (except some sound effects) have been put into the public domain by the original developers and publishers:

Someone then went to the effort of using the public domain code and data, and produced various ports of the game named Free Abuse (fRaBs):

I downloaded something called v. 2.10 from

but the Zip-archive is corrupt. The v. 2.00 archive appears to be fine.

Once the v 2.00 archive has been extracted, ABUSE.EXE seems to run fine DOSBox 0.73.

Actually that's why I am here, I asked them and they told me to ask here. I just don't understand when I mount the hard drive how to start the .exe file. The intro doesn't explain the coding to perform such action.

1) Start DOSBox

2) Enter this command:

mount C "C:\name\of\folder\where\you\unzipped\the\game"

3) Type:

C:
