Doom Alpha 0.4 has a Quake-ish timerefresh feature, and it's simpler. How to benchmark?

1. run DOOM.EXE
2. press T.
3. Game quits and RESULT APPEARS!

It would only crash for me, but I suppose it could be running too fast, and maybe some information went through a black hole or something.

I ran this in DOS 7 (Win98SE - restart in MS-DOS), and it says after I benchmark it -

stub: Doom crashed! But it also gives me a time of 19, and an "ips value" of about 471. This is running on a PIII box.

Maybe the IPS value is the benchmark. Mine got 897.
