Hello, when i try to play x-wing floppy on munt enabled dosbox (gulikoza) with mt-32 for music and sound blaster for sound effects, the volume is not balanced, and there is nothing i can do to fix it. The volume for the mt-32 is too soft, while the sound blaster sound is normal, setting it to just mt-32 doesnt help either. HELP!

x-wing has got separate volume control for music and sound if you hit ESC

i know that, and it doesnt really work with the roland/sound blaster combo, tried lowering sfx volume and the voices were still loud

dosbox has got internal mixer program for setting volume, check readme. But easier is to use windows' volume control sliders.

i think it is for decreasing. you can set it from 0 to 100, not more than 100.

You can go well over 100. I find that the munt-based mt-32 emulation in Gulikoza's build is way too quiet compared to the other emulated sound hardware in DOSBox when set at 100:100, so I set it to 400:400. I haven't noticed any distortion at that level.
