I decided to run two benchmarks on the Soyo board - 1) with the BIOS settings on their default values, and 2) with most of the BIOS memory and cache options maxed out. (I couldn't set the value of "DRAM Write Cycle" to 0 WS, because the BIOS POST screen froze, so I set it to 1 WS instead.)
Both overall Speedsys scores were the same, at 37.28. This was using the AMD DX4-100 CPU. With the BIOS memory and cache values almost maxed out, here are some of the other Speedsys scores -
Memory bandwidth = 82.52 MB/s (was 76.21 on the Micronics board with the Overdrive dx2-66)
Data cache L1 (8 kb) = 66.05 MB/s (was 52.30)
Data cache L2 (256 kb) = 43.76 MB/s (was 37.50)
Memory throughput = 27.83 MB/s (was 23.05)
Doom -timedemo demo3 (with the screen set to max size, no sound, using Matrox PCI G200 8mb) = 2134 / 2115 = 35.31 fps
