Not working:(

Have a FX0 series PLC that used MEDOC software for programming plc thru a serial port. This laptop has no serial port so im using a USB to Serial converter, but no luck with this plc.

Ran Medoc outside dosbox, hangs in "transfer pending"
Ran Medoc inside DOSBOX and got past that problem, but just times out says "no response from PLC"
tested cable, plc etc, on a pc with a serial port, no problem:)
Tested USB to serial converter with hyperterminal, no problem.
SO i played around with the dosbox.conf file and set serial port to directserial but of course that didnt work as it isnt a real one.
How do i direct medoc in dosbox to go thru my usb to serial? I matched the port settings in com1 in windows and in medoc and changed the usb to serial port to com 1 to match medoc...still no luck.

Anyone know the trick to it? cheers John.
