Problem: Can't get Captain Bible to actually run with DOSBox (I've installed it).

Story: Got the files for Captain Bible off my old floppies. Used DOSBox to install and change preferences for the game, but when I run CB.exe all I get is a blank black screen.

Details: DOSBox v0.73, Windows XP. Not really a techie so I don't know how to find what other info is relevant--but I typically follow instructions well.

The Abandonia page for Captain Bible said the game "works perfectly" with DOSBox...but I have not been able to replicate such. If anyone is able to be of help, I'd really appreciate it!

Put game installer on my C drive under OLDGAMES. Added another file to install the game to on my C drive, called CAPTAINBIBLE. Ran DOSBox as follows:

MOUNT B C:\OLDGAMES
MOUNT C C:\CAPTAINBIBLE
B:
INSTALL.EXE

The game asks whether to install to C:\CBDOME, enter YES. Go through setup, preferences.
Ends with the prompt C:\CBDOME>
I enter CB after the prompt.

The resulting screen is just black.
