Hi, I've got two problems related to this particular game. (Mechanized Assault Exploration.)

The first I can live with. For some reason the installer said I only have 262 MB of storage on my c: drive, so I had to preform a 'large' (And not complete) installation.

Onto the second problem, and the one which is really bothering me, is that I cannot play this game. Attempting to run maxrun.exe in DOSbox returns a 'Screen init failed.'.

Can anyone help me with this problem? This is my favorite game ever made, and I'd really like to enjoy it again.

maybe read the readme of dosbox concerning the storage problem. maybe the game will work then.

Alternatively you can buy the game preinstalled from www.gog.com

I've already installed the game, that's not the issue. The problem is getting past the 'Screen Init. Failed' problem.

Dauss, you should start the game with MAXRUN.BAT, works fine then.

I've tried that too, it doesn't seem to work either.
