Hello everybody.
DOSBox 0.74,

That is, start DOSBox, the use of Ctrl + F1 key re-definition of the interface transfer out how to like Ctrl + F1 or Alt + F1 key combination such as the definition of the button A or button B,?

My English is poor, do not know if that understand.
Ultimate function is to be achieved:
Press the A button, the system received command is Ctrl A, or the like.

Thanks alot!

The mapper is intended for remapping the emulated keyboard at a per-key level
(no key combinations), so you can't map a physical key/button to produce a
"ctrl a" (which is a press ctrl, keep it, press a, release a, release ctrl sequence).

Maybe explain in more details what you are really trying to do, and why.

Thank you.
I do so because: Some DOS games hot key is Ctrl +1, Ctrl +2, or similar, is not convenient to use, I would like to define a separate button to use.
Subsequent versions will join this function?
Thank you
😀

Because that's not what the mapper is for.

it is possible
just assign your key to both events (ctrl and 1)
