VOGONS

I have DOSbox 0.74 and DBFrontend 0.61a, and a PC that's good enough to run Pinball Fantasies without problems, as I have set it up before.
My problem now is, that my parents' PC had a serious virus infestation and needed a clean Windows XP reinstall, losing, unfortunately, the config file for PF in the progress.
Now I've managed to get the game working on full FPS again, but during fast transitions, especially on Skulls and Bones (my father's favourite table), the screen gets 2-3 highly visible horizontal tears for about a second.
I've tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to work.

Thanks in advance!

Usually means that vsync is turned off in your video driver. You can try different output= options or look at the options for the video driver in windows. Try opengl, it's slower for some cards, but for pretty much any of them they vsync when opengl is active.

1) that config file looks like it's for an ancient version of dosbox

2) Use fulldouble=true

I've been having the same problem with my radeon 7950 GT, but enabling v-sync fixed the problem.... Thanks.
Opengl is been used by the way.
