In all seriousness, did you read the README that comes with DosBox?

Try tryping HELP and INTRO in DosBox. Read the documentation.

did you install dosbox ?
if so there is a shortcut in the start menu which should start dosbox

you will get a black screen with some text in it and the last line is
z:\
then type intro for a brief introduction

But the trouble was that i got only the sourcecode to dosbox.
I downloaded it from BeBits.

But when i checked the official homepage i found the installer 😁
