One of my favorite old dos games that hasn't run right since the pentium processors came out (runs *WAY* fast if at all).

I don't know enough about compiling stuff from cvs to test it out myself... but if anyone has the time to help me figure it out (compiling I mean) then I can test it myself. I am pretty sure that protect mode is why alien legacy causes dosbox to close...

oh, btw, it's the CD version, not the floppy one (apparently big differences in data files and code).

nevermind... after reading some threads (again!) I noticed a link to download a cvs build (every 2 days updated). WOOT! go see the screenshots if you care about this game...

Just curious, what are the differences between the two? I have the 8 disk version.

I was wondering that myself.
Does the diskversion has speech?
The cd-rom version does.

Another ting is the intromovie , i have 2 versions of the game and they show 2 totally different intromovies.

Sadly enough I have never been able to finish a game as it always crashes just after i made peace with the guys from cronus.

I hope it'll change now
