Okay, I have a shareware version of wolfenstine3d from a cd and when I go to install it it says "Missing .dat file" I got this game from an official shareware cd so I presume it would have all the files.

run install.bat instead of deice.exe directly

Okay, I run install.bat and it tells me to install disk 1 or 6... I thought it was all on the cd.

And it is...but it's a floppy based install, the disk is there...just press Enter.

Oh, silly me. I got it, hey! 3D realms just released a bunch of their games as freeware.
