This install, under Win 98SE, is not successful: the screen is completely corrupted during installation to the point where I have to guess which keys to press to return to the Win GUI. Usually I have to reset the machine to try something different. Using GLIDOS does not alter this situation - but I have not yet tried to install using the GLIDOS Wizard (because I want to understand the cause of the problem).
I can get TR1 to sort of work, (with and without GLIDOS, using the original TOMB.EXE and the version in the GLIDOS support zip) by merely doing a copy of all the files from the CD into the (hopefully) correct directories on the hard disk. But I have no sound and an unstable system that way.
Can TR1 be made to work in my configuration?
