Hello!

New to DOSBOX but have it up and running on WIN7x64 system to run some old DOS programs communicating to a data logger.
Program comes up and seems to run just fine in DOSBOX..........but I'm unable to communicate to device connected to COM port (RS232). I have verified that all settings are correct.

Any ideas?
Should this work running in the DOSBOX environment?

[serial] in the config file

Yes I just found that and moified it like the following:

“serial1=directserial realport:com1”

Worked like a champ!
Didn't realize the ports were defaulted to "dummy"
