A while ago I tried a demo of GliDos, but read on the GliDos website that there were problems with the Nvidia GForce2 graphics card so I discontinued using Glidos. I wish to know has this problem been rectified so that I can play the range of Tomb Raider games and other games using GliDos, NVidia GForce 2 graphics card and Windows XP home. I am still using DirectX 8.1. There was a great improvment in the graphic quality over the original, this is why I have decided to try again with a new demo version before purchasing.

There did not seem to be reference to the Graphics card in the present GliDos website.

Thanks
Johnew

If I remember rightly, the problem was that the drivers couldn't handle DOS VESA modes. I changed Glidos to handle VESA and I had several reports of success from those who previously had problems. Since then I expect the drivers have moved on sufficiently that the problem just doesn't exist.

Really the thing to do is try it. Don't, what ever you do, buy it until you are sure it works on your system.

Not sure about the GeForce2 MX, but my GF2 Ti (GTS) works great here.

[Edit] Oh, I use Detonator 45.24 by the way. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure about that card either but I have a GeForce Fx5600 and it works just fine with Glidos/TR
