Hey there... purchased my key yesterday and started giving all the games a go! Fantastic!

I'm having some problems w/ these games though, and I've done a search and not seen anything else so far, so maybe someone can help me here.

Descent 2 :
- No CD audio. I know it recognizes my CD because the game starts.
- Joystick acting weird. I have a Logitech Digital Wingman 3D and it recognizes the joystick just fine, but in-game it simply will not respond to input from the axes.

Extreme Assault :
- Doesn't recognize my mouse at all.
- Cutscenes run silky smooth, but once the game starts the framerate goes to hell. If I disable the 'transparent effects' it jumps up again. Not really a problem, just something I thought the developer might like to know.

Carmaggedon :
- I know the last two levels freeze up, but I actually had the FIRST level freeze up on me.

Here's my system :
- AMD Athlon 2000 XP
- Windows XP
- C: D: E: (HD) F: (CD Burner) G: (Emulated drive)
- GeForce 4 Ti 4200
- 512 MB RAM

You might have trouble getting all the games running perfectly. Glidos deals only with providing Glide emulation. Some of these games can run into problems in other areas on some systems. Actually, that's not quite true: Glidos does fix some specific problems not to do with Glide, like CD audio in TR1, and timing and mouse support in Descent II, but those were special cases.

Descent 2: don't think I've ever played it with the CD in. My version seems to play music without the CD, but maybe that's not the music you want. You might try SPAUCDEX. I've had a sidewinder joystick work. Joysticks should work via VDMSound. Might be worth asking about your particular joystick in the VDMSound forum. I must say I didn't get on very well with the joystick. I find the mouse works much better for me, but with a special setting up of the keyboard.

Extreme Assualt: don't think I've tried with the mouse. I know I've had the mouse work to select menu items, but not sure about the game. That's something I could work on, because Glidos does have its own mouse driver, added for the sake of Descsnt 2.

Carmaggedon: Was the freeze a one off?
