Hi
I've managed to install the game in dosbox, but i get this message when i try to run the game:
"Error: Could not open the configuration file CONFIG.DAT. This file is required for the game to run correctly. Please check your installation."
And "Stack fault".
Can anybody help me?
Any mount differences between the install and the run?

Championship Manager 2 is LaserLok protected game. With "no cd in drive" message in dosbox.
So - it looks like you use abadonware version.
Did you OWN the game?

Yes, I own the game, I use the original CD-rom.
I'm new to dosbox and I'm not sure I understand your question. Here's what i did to install the game:
1: I created a folder for my game: C:\Users\your-user-name\Documents\CM2
2: I inserted the CD (original)
3: In dosbox: Z:\>mount C "C:\Users\your-user-name\Documents\CM2
4: Z:\>mount D "E:\" -t cdrom (e: is my real cd-drive)
5: Z:\>C:
6: Z:\>D:
7: D:\>install
8: D:\>go (I get the error message).
Step 8:
c:
cd cm2
go
You must run the game from game directory, not from cd.
Still the result is "Checking cd... Stack overflow" after the intro movie. Because of LaserLok.
DOSBox does not support LaserLok games. There are several other threads devoted to CM2 already.
