Personally I'd rather not be period correct when it comes to PSU's and CPU coolers, those Intel HSF's of the time were unbelievably LOUDDDddd!!

And why not get something a bit nicer any ways. Not only is it quieter, but the chip will run cooler too.

Yup. Making it a habit here to use Athlon XP coolers for Pentium 3's, Pentium 3 coolers for Socket 7 (IF they fit 🤣) and Socket 7 coolers for 486 (using the wire clip) anda....northbridges??
