Hi. I've just bought Glidos (even though I'm unemployed, £6 is a bargain), to play Tomb raider again.

I have one of the very earliest CDs of Tomb Raider and the Glidos logo appeared on the very first level, so I had to buy it...

Anyway, I'm trying to capture the textures as explained on the website, and although I have added the line: TextureOverride: Capture and played the whole of the first Caves level, nothing happens. I get no folder with images in.

Can any body help me sort this out. I'd love to design a new Hi-res texture pack for Tomb Raider, but it ain't gonna happen if I can't get it to work...

I'm running Windows XP Home on an AMD Athlon 1900+ with GeForce Ti 4600. Glido is installed on D:\Program Files\Glidos.

Thanks

Hmmmm... seems to be working if I quit out of the game before completing a level. Does the folder get deleted when you switch levels?

No, the folders don't get deleted. I can't imagine what is making it fail. You need to actually view every texture to generate a complete starting pack, but you can do this in several playing sessions.

Let me know if you notice any other patterns to this stange behaviour.

Seems to be OK now, though ocasionally it doesn't seem to work -- I think it's because I sometimes edit the INI file while Glide Server is running. If I click Start game again, it doesn't always work -- I guess this is because the INI file is only checked on Startup?

Haven't checked this consistently so it may just be me!

You need to quit and relaunch Glidos every time you modify your ini file.

Oh, yeh. Well spotted. I ought to change that behaviour, or at least document it.
