Hi all,
I'm trying to run a dos application with DosBox. Unfortunately, I'm getting the message "this program cannot be run in DOS mode". 🙁 Before I give up I was hoping you can give me some help.
My operating system is Macintosh 10.4.10. I use the latest version of DosBox, which is 0.72. The program I'm trying to run is ATCC, which you can freely download here: http://www.xavius.com/atcc10.html
I put the installation file in a folder called "atcc". Location is /users/my name/atcc
I mount the folder with the command "mount c /users/my name/atcc. I get the message "Drive C is mounted as local directory /users/my name/atcc/"
I go to that folder with the C: command. I show the content with the "dir" command. The atcc.exe file is shown. I try to run the file by typing atcc.exe. And then I get the messege "this program cannot be run in DOS mode"....
Can anyone help me with running the application? I'd rather use DosBox than doing complicated things with parralels... I've installed it on a Windows machine and there it worked without any problems. I didn't even need to install DosBox, for what it's worth to know it...
And excuse me if my English isn't perfect, I'm Dutch 🙄
Thanks a lot! Grtz Tim.
