Hello there again, Ive recently purshaed a boxed copy of Monopoly 1991 Virigin Games Release (3 1/2 floppy version) And ive sucessfully installed the game and use any of the graphic mode.

My Question is: Do this game feature any sound? Because except some little beep , I do not hear anything. I do beleive that this game do not have any sound except beep (I know its a rerelease of the 1985 DOS game)

I do not have a True DOS to Test.

I prefer to ask it here before posting its compatibility in the dosbox site.

EDIT: I will also tell you another problem I have instead of creating a new topic that may have relation with monopoly

On my laptop I can hear PC Speakers in all my games but on my Main Computer I cannot. It is a Quad Core Windows 7 Computer with 12 gb of Ram and 1 TO of Space

''My All games'' are actually 2 games I own. Street Fighter II (in PC Speaker Mode) Monopoly (Thought it do the same thing than on the desktop one)

I have the game and from what I have seen all it has is a little speaker beep for when you roll the dice. It's from 1985 for God's sake!

I know that Galaxian was made in 1983 and featured LOUD Beeping. So I thought That Monopoly would have the same.

about the PC Speakers problem, I don't understand why (I tested with street fighter 2) pc speakers do not work on my main windows 7 computer but work on my laptop (I know i can play sf2 with soundblaster perfectly , its just for future game that I will buy for DOS that use pc speakers only

Have you tried any other games on your desktop that have sound? Also did you run the config, furthermore, I hate to ask this but did you turn your speakers up/on?

I checked the 0.74 option config and it say that the pc speaker are on. I use the exact same config on the laptop and on the main computer (The default when you first download 0.74).

Soundblaster work with street fighter 2, so this cannot be a simple sound problem. Like I said earlier, I want to test if pc speaker work on street fighter 2 for future game that only use pc speakers. I only have street fighter 2 to test

EDIT: I do hear pcspeakers music on the windows 7 computer with street fighter II now, but it is extremely messed up and only play some beep. PC Speaker sound effect are also messed up. On the laptop, the music are perfect

If you're refering to "Monopoly Deluxe" (circa 1992/1993 or so), it indeed has full sound support (as well as a cool MIDI tune that plays when starting the game).

(if that's the one) ...my absolute FAVORITE version of Monopoly for PC, hands down... better than anything ever made (even the newest incarnations with all of their eye candy and such).
