I'm having a problem with the disk version of Lands of Lore in DosBox.After the hero selection,the screen just turns black and nothing happens.There is no error message from DosBox either.I've tried playing with and without sound,but that didn't help.

You need to patch the game to version 1.23. Then it works. The same thing is with The Hand of Fate.

I've tried the patch but it won't work anyway
this game was working fine on 0.58

Weird... my both versions (cd-rom & floppy) work under DB 0.60
