Might be able to help if you post your folder structure and all the commands you typed.

Commands:
mount c c:\DOS\DOS\INTR\SSTEEL
mount d d:\ -t cdrom
c:
SSTEEL.exe

File Scructure:
C:\DOS\DOS\INTR\SSTEEL\SSTEEL.exe
D:\ it is the cdrom

I'm guessing that you used "mount c c:\DOS\DOS" when you installed it and the game thinks it went to C:\INTR\SSTEEL.

Try
mount c c:\DOS\DOS
mount d d:\ -t cdrom
c:\
cd INTR
cd SSTEEL
SSTEEL.exe

The commands can be placed in the autoexec section of the conf file for convenience.

Or possibly,
mount c c:\DOS
and the game thinks it went to C:\DOS\INTR\SSTEEL to explain the double DOSes.

Either way, you should use the same commands as when you installed it.

I tried those commands, but it didn't work. Same results, and I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game a few times. I did find out something though, I tried installing it as DOS\INTRPLAY\SSTEEL and I could not get it to run at all, but when I installed it as DOS\GAMES\INTRPLAY\SSTEEL it will load the game but does what I originally stated, it will not load the mission because it thinks the CD is not there even though I mounted and installed it from the cd.

I got it working after a few things I tried. I thought that DOSbox could work on a virtual machine with no problem, but it only works on the host machine. Thanks for your help.
