I need some help setting it up.

I downloaded it from [removed] and a few other places it seems to be the same version abandonware I am getting....

All I have managed to do is run KOL.exe which runs the intro over and over and over in a endless loop.

So if anyone can assist I would be much obliged. Used to play this for days on end on C64 😀

One version I downloaded had a readme that was very unclear but it said something about having to emulate a dos floppy to be able to save the game. So if someone knows anything about that also?

We don't support abandonware here. Go ask where you downloaded it from. Most abandonware sites will help you in their forums.

Right...I forget my system.

I don't actually have an error though yet, I just can't figure out how to start the game.

But I run Windows 7 MSNDAA edition
MB: Asus P5QD Turbo (on board sound device)
Intel Core2 Quad Q9650 3GHz
8GB RAM 2x2gb DDR2-1066 and 2x2gb DDR2-800
Nvidida GeForce GTX 560 1GB DDR3

DOSBox 0.74
