It seems there is a piece missing of the right side of the screen running Albion with a scaler other then the normalxx scalers.

Tried DOSBox 0.65 and up
With all output devices.
With aspect ratio on and off.
All resolutions inluding the original.

See screenies.

I think the solution to this problem will have to wait for ages, since "no member of the group is particularly eager to put their hand there"!
Sorry, couldn't resist 😀

Depends on what "there" is and what the actual problem is.

Well I should have figured clicking the toilet would have that effect on people.

Anyways, as you can see in the screenshot the right side of the screen is missing a piece, but filled with a random leftover of previous frames.

This occurs if I use a scaler other then the normal2x, normal3x or none.

I tested it on two computers already with the same effect, so it isn't hardware related.

Erik.

The (scaled) image width is fine, 720 from the scaled 360 original resolution.
The right 16 pixels (8 pixels of the original resolution) are missing/repeated.

Right, the dimentions of the screen are correct and the 8 pixels from the right aren't getting refreshed every frame.

Haven't tried DOSBox's earlier then 0.65.

I'll see what they turn up.

Erik.

0.63 looks ok.

Complex scalers use a source blocksize of 16, so 360 doesn't fit.
#define SCALER_BLOCKSIZE 16
Suppose the 16 is faster, but dunno.

You are right rcBlanke, DOSBox 0.63 doesn't show this problem. Tried the advinterp2x scaler.

Fallout 1 doesn't show this problem though in DOSBox 0.65 and up, but then I have currently no idea what res it runs on.

I think Fallout 1 is 640x480x8bpp.

Can the scaler be fed padding to compliment the blocks around the edge of the screen?
