Hello,
I just started using Dosbox to play Simcity2000 and so I had the idea of playing the "good old games" of my childhood 😀
So I downloaded Aladdin from http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/file/aladdin/.
I saved it directly under C:\aladdin.
So when I use DosBox as I do for SC2000, that means 'mount c c:\aladdin'
then 'c:' then 'aladdin' it doesn't work 🙁
Can someone tell me why? The aladdin folder includes a data called lha.exe,
when I do the same with lha.exe it also doesn't work...
I would be very thankful for any help.
Thx

You have to install the game:

mount a c:\aladdin -t floppy
mount c c:\dosgames
a:
install c:\aladdin\
c:
cd \aladdin
setsnd
aladdin

In the above example I used c:\dosgames for the root directory of the emulated C: drive in DOSBox, but use whatever folder you like.

Once the game is installed, to play it again:

mount c c:\dosgames
c:
cd \aladdin
aladdin

Hi!

Thx for answerig so quick. I did all the steps like you said and used a folder calles "games" in C:... but it's an empty one...???
Anyway, it said the installation has been completet. But when I do the cd\aladdin part it say, that it is not possible to change to \aladdin...
What could be the problem?

Doesn't mean that. Leave /aladdin while using that cmd.
