I just got a new comp with Windows 7 on it and i have DOSbox ver0.74. I'm trying to get the Origin game Wings of Glory to run properly on my system. The main issue is the lack of sound effects and voice overs on the game when it runs. I have resolved the other typical issues such as the error 1910 message by adjusting the core, ems, autolock and frameskip as recommended on other threads but no one seems to be able to help me with getting the sound effects up and running. Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated.

I don't have that game...but is sound properly configured: using the setup program the IRQ, address and DMA match those set in DosBox, along with the correct type of sound card? (Probably Sound Blaster)
You can check your numbers looking at the .conf file or typing set in a DosBox prompt.

Yes, the sound setup and sound tests work fine when doing the install and adjustments but when the game starts only music comes through.

ahhh, any suggestions on how i can fix that?? sorry i'm really not an expert on dosbox, a little too used to the new installation systems on games.

Yeah...if DosBox is set for...say...IRQ 7...make sure at setup you set it up and save it as IRQ 7 too...if it's the CD version...is the CD mounted while playing too?

No, the CD isn't mounted because this was a zip file i downloaded, does that mean i need to get the CD?

It means you need to buy the game and not download it. Who knows what errors this rip has
