A while ago I made a couple of stand alone packages for Blood and it's add-on.
I spent a long time researching how to do this, and the fruits of my labour were both Blood and Blood: Cryptic Passage as self contained apps.

Recently I discovered someone else's "wrapper" to create stand alone DOS based games for Mac, and decided to transfer my files into it, as it had some advantages over mine.

When I first made my apps, I spent some time working to use my old (original) XBox controller.
I'm sure I managed to configure it to work perfectly.
Although I did have to use an application called "ControllerMate".
But through this I had analogue movement and looking.

A while ago I upgraded to a wireless XBox 360 controller for my Mac.
And forgot all about the work I did to run Blood with gamepad controls.
I do have ControllerMate installed, and know how to create virtual controllers. So remapping the buttons is easy.
I just can't seem to figure out the analogue sticks.

What I'm asking is:
Does anyone know how I can configure DosBox running Blood to map the controls to my XBox 360 controller?
I have been trying for hours, and nothing works.
I've tried everything I can think of, but all that happens is that the controls seem to be locked in one position, and it's not centre, so all that happens is the character spins, or runs in a single direction.

I remember having issues before, but I cant seem to remember what I did.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Sisee.

Did you try the joystick settings in the config? It's hard to say anything when you wrote you tried everything but yet you don't write WHAT you tried 😉
And please try with the latest version of dosbox without any app wraping first to make sure that this has nothing to do with it.
