A pin broke off my Cyrix M-II 300 when I took it out of the socket. 🙁
Ideally I'd like to get it out, but if that's not possible, I'll use another mobo.
Any suggestions?

Uh...vacuum it out?
...or...turn the board upside down and hit the board at it's back behind the socket to "spit it out"?
...use a needle to poke in the hole and keep moving it to loosen the pin?

A super strong magnet?
Oh man...that sounds bad. I have a Socket 7 Dell. I wonder- why not find a small needle or pin, like in a sewing kit, rub it against a magnet to temporarily magnetize it, then see if you can stick the edge near the plugged hole? Or would that be a bad idea?

I managed to get it out with a very fine pair of pliers.
Oh well, that chip is useless now. 🙁
I put an IBM 6x86MX PR200 in the board, and it seems OK:
