Hi,
I am trying to run some early 199x DOS games with a SB16 that require an early CT-VOICE.DRV probably from drivers around 1992 or 1993 as the updated drivers from 1994 have an updated CT-VOICE.DRV that is not compatible with the games.
We have a SB16 value and a SB16v2 (maybe too new?) from memory but I have not found the original install floppy disks so far, although I will keep looking.
So what I would like to ask is do you have an old DOS floppy installation disk from 1992 or 1993 for an SB16.
I would like to install the drivers myself but having the right CT-VOICE.DRV would be enough for my needs.
These are the versions I have;
14/10/1994 31.0 KB (31,842 bytes) version 4.05
15/02/1994 31.1 KB (31,866 bytes) version 4.01
Also I have this but am not sure where I got it from or if it is official or not;
06/10/1993 17.9 KB (18,386 bytes) version 3.07.03
(It does work but would like to know if there is other versions from around this time, also I am not sure if I *installed it* as I have not been able to reproduce the file on further trial installations.)
Are there any other versions, or which DOS driver disk has that 1993 file on it? Please if someone can help as I don't want to download either 300mb or 750mb to *hopefully* to find what I am looking for.
For anyone interested in how the different versions of CT-VOICE.DRV can effect some old games you can test with the 1993 "Innocent Until Caught", it will not run with CT-VOICE.DRV versions 4.01 or 4.05 with SB16, even if 'emulated' via Dosbox.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
