Already mentioned here It's Official!

I figured the return of the Two Guys had been previously mentioned, but I have been recruited to spread the word, and confirm the Kickstarter for the project, so just launching a few "pre-emptive strikes" in hopes to field early interest from fellow (hopefully!) backers, but I also figured I'd mention the actual regrouping on the extreme off chance it wasn't actually mentioned here. 😜

Just doing my part is all! I have faith this campaign will be just as successful as the one for Larry, which I'm happy to announce I contributed to as well. It's time we fans ASSEMBLE once again and Kickstart the return of the Two Guys! 😁 As I mentioned earlier, I will post the link to the Kickstarter page to this thread.

EDIT: Feel free to merge the two threads if you wish, I'm all for making things orderly and less procestuous!

As long as Wasteland 2 makes it. (Only one I've funded so far....waiting to see how that turns out before I fund anything else).

Almost all games on Kickstarter have a large surge at the end. Both this one and Tex will most likely make it. Tex even more so with 69% pledged and 3 more days to go than SpaceVenture.

There's a chat/commentary by the Two Guys tonight at 6:30pm PST / 9:30pm EST. They'll be talking about the creation of the classic Space Quest 1. Should be well worth the listen for adventure game fans.

This is the first KS that has me a tad worried that it will not make it. KickTraq reports it coming short (Traq is hardly accurate). Here is hoping for a late surge!

Tex Murphy just reached their goal. Though I have to wonder. Space Venture has 2000 more backers than Tex Murphy, but are 100k behind. What is the reason the average pledge is so much higher on Tex? Are the fans so much more dedicated on Tex?

Not sure about this versus Tex, but I think in general people are going to start losing interest in funding kickstarter games until some of the bigger ones actually ship.

I'd really like to back this one, but I'm already waiting on the pledges I've made towards FTL, Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun to come through in order to give me some assurance that it was worth it.
