Hi I am new to DosBox. I am wondering how do I enable my 9 pin RS-232 I/O when using Dosbox? (command) The program i am trying to run connects to another box via the 9 pin port and sends and recieves info using this port. The program seems to run without a glitch after I mount my drives untill it gets to the part where it trys to connect with the other box via the 9 pin port. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit the [serial] section of DOSBox.conf. See http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Dosbox.conf#.5Bserial.5D .

Be advised that USB-to-serial converters may not work as well as genuine serial ports. Also, DOSBox IS NOT SUITED TO RUN YOUR NON-GAMING DOS APPLICATION.
