What are you searching for to find them? I have a few saved searches but I haven't come across any MIDI interfaces at the prices you are describing...

OK I guess I can tell you my secrets now that I have 2 😀
These are the ads:

And I think the saved searches that picked these up were "MPU-IPC", and "Music Quest MIDI".

🤣 nice! I did purchase the card from an ebay user in the UK. It almost looks like the "MacMagic" card Villagetronics put out, only this has the standard VGA and pass-through ports on the rear. I wonder what that large, silver area in the bottom left of the card is for? Mine is empty it seems. On an Orchid card, there is something there- I wish I had a diagram or a scan of this particular card's manual. I'm about to download the drivers and try installing it in place of my Vodoo 2 on my Win98/Optiplex rig. We'll see what it can do. I have a few games in mind that ask for a Voodoo 1, ie: Resident Evil.

A Roland MIDI module from Wagga Wagga. Now that's something you don't see every day 😁

The card seems identical apart from the lettering to many others - I think it's just a 3dfx reference design - see here http://www.tdfx.de/eng/grafikkarten_alle.shtml. A lot of models have that silver thing and the same layout. In fact I sold you the card, and I bought it as a new-old-stock PowerColor; it's been used for literally a few minutes only 🤣. I'll see if I can find the manual but I think it was a tiny piece of paper with just some generic "plug your card in and turn the machine on" type of stuff.
I've got the card in the attached picture - I seem to have decided it was a gainward but it looks the same as yours I think.
Cool, thank you! I was going to install it last night, but it got a little too late to tear apart my MMX rig. I'll test it out later. Just got my Alienware m14x today, that's got my major attention at the moment. Can't wait until I get out of work to try that out...er the Voodoo card I mean. 😀

Neat, they are fantastic cards and have the best mosfets of almost any card that has been made in the last half decade. However there is one thing I am bitter about and that is the inductors used on these cards. 😒
Going to have to rebuild my two 280 before to long.

Managed to get my hands on a Matrox m3D and a Gemulator ROM card with Mac II and Mac LC ROMS mounted on it. Now I can run vintage Mac OS on my vintage PC. 😁

With stock coolers, whats the normal running temp on these cards at extreme load? My top one has been hitting 202 degrees Fahrenheit on 3D Mark Vantage when set to extreme. Granted its summer and the past couple of days my room has been about 80 degrees itself, but I was wondering if thats considered high for those cards in sli, or normal?.

These cards get hot even in the winter with no central heat but keeping the fan at a fixed speed like 80% they will average below 80c if the thermal compound is good. Mine got hotter due to the fact the ihs wasn't flat on the core. 🙁
Ran mafia 2 with two gtx280 in sli with a 8800gt for dedicated physx just for kicks once and it all got scorching hot. So much so that I went back to only running the two gtx280 alone. The stock coolers are underweight for the needs of the card but it has a nice mid and back plate despite the mid plate being part of the main cooler. These cards are hard to beat up to kill unlike most these days. Keep this in mind that at the i/o plate there is a lot of back pressure and the hot air likes to vent back into the case. Nvidia screwed up a few things for sure as they always do.

Just won an aution on eBay for a Tandy 1000RL, the last TRUE Tandy. 😀
Now looking at options for a monitor... I heard you can use a 1084S, is that right?

Looks like it's simple enough to build a cable to go from the Tandy's DB9 port to the 1084S's DIN plug. Awesome. One less monitor I need to keep around!

That really is crappy 😜
(I'm not talking about the board 😁 )
Got this network card from Amazon. An ISA 100mbit ethernet card. Brand new:
Some might cry a tear for me opening the package, but it is a nice replacement for my 3com Etherlink II that I have some problems with.
100Mbit on ISA was NOT very common! Nice find!
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

My phone only does 480x640 in portrait mode unless I turn it on it's side then it's plain old VGA. 😜
I really like how that flier with the old ISA network adapter says " Late breaking news" 🤣
